The Science Museum

The Science Museum is located in South Kensington, London and it was founded in 1857. The Museum is world renowned for its historic collections, awe-inspiring galleries and inspirational exhibitions, many of which are interactive.
Over 300,000 items are housed at the museum, including some famous pieces such as Puffing Billy (the oldest surviving steam locomotive), Stephenson's Rocket, a reconstruction of Crick and Watson's model of DNA, and the first prototype of the 10,000-year Clock of the Long Now. The museum has an IMAX 3D cinema which shows science and nature documentaries.
The Science Museum is also home to some of the many medical objects collected by Henry Wellcome.
